Who is .. ?

Marilena Zingale


Marilena ZINGALE

She is from Romania, where she lived till the age of 19. Afterwards she moved to New York and travelled between Europe (Italy) and the Big Apple, while she was studying Italian Language and Literature. Her extensive experience at the United Nations Headquarters in New York has made her undertake an assignment with the U.N. Peacekeeping Mission in Liberia (UNMIL) in June 2004.

She loves poetry, Kundera, bossa nova, sunsets, smell of fresh cut grass, rain, freshly brewed coffee, dancing and animals. Apart from Italian, Romanian and English, Marilena speaks 3 other languages, namely: French, Portuguese and Spanish. She also studied Arabic while living in New York. She and Luigi were born the same day, month and year, approximately at the same time.
