Who is .. ?

Kurniawan SYARIFUDDIN

Lieutenant Colonel Inf Kurniawan Firmuzi Syarifuddin, SE was born in Jakarta in November 1968, graduated from the military Academy (Akmil AD) in 1990. Further from second Lieutenant, he began his military career in Kostrad/Army Strategic Command then assigned to Brigif Linud 3/Kostrad Makassar in 1991 – 2000. He succeeded himself as the chief of Yonif Linud 503/18 Kostrad based in Mojokerto.

Prior his mission assignment to UNIFIL, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Kurniawan Firmuzi Syarifuddin, SE was taking office at Pusat Kesenjataan Infanteri, Bandung – known as Infantry Center as Chief of the Administrative Section. His international assignment initially began in December 2002 to February 2003, undertaking a role as United Nations’ Military Observer (UNMO) in Georgia under the mandate of United Nations Observer Mission in Georgia (UNOMIG). With his extensive United Nations’ exposure, landed him an appointment to join Indonesia’s Contingent – Garuda XXVI-A/UNIFIL (United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon) since in October 2008 to Desember 2009.

Apart from great interest in sports, and reading, he also enjoys traveling. During his mission assignment, Let. Col Kurniawan Firmuzi Syarifuddin will be sharing further from Lebanon.
