Peacekeepers: Who and what we do

Who is .. ?

Aisyah

Aisyah was born and grown up in Medan, Indonesia. Grown up as a country girl with strong Medan accent, which sometimes confuse people from Indonesia about her Indonesian language. She didn’t imagine that she would travel to leave her country for Africa on her assignment. With initial hands-on experience as Project Secretary for construction company, she began further contending challenges and going into adventures to know more and obtain further experiences in humanitarian relief missions. As destiny brought her further, landed her an opportunity to join other big names of organization in humanitarian relief Organization, namely; IMC (International Medical Corps), IOM (International Organization for Migration), USAIDLGSP (United States Agency for International Development – Local Governance Support Programe), UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), SCCF (Secours Catholique/Caritas France). Armed with extensive exposure and abundant experiences, has made her profile attractive and got herself an international assignment at UNMIL (United Nations Mission in Liberia). A diligent team player, and a sense of workaholic as her bad habit during closing deadlines. Apart from work, Aisyah enjoys traveling, creative in culinary experiment and of course enjoy very much in shopping. Aisyah will be sharing further from Liberia during her assignment.
