Here are the some stray dogs hanging around in the parking lot of our office in Khartoum (Location: UNMIS Parking lot ) – sometimes they jump from one vehicle to another and play on top of the vehicles – in the photos, they are in the relaxing mood – but look at some of them – posing like models… the way the pose, I think they’re better than me.
This is just some of the daily scenes I’ve seen while working on the ground, here in Khartoum, Sudan.

Sang pramugari berusaha menenangkan dan membawa barang mereka ke bagasi lain yang masih kosong. Namun sang istri ngotot ingin barang – barang itu tak jauh – jauh dari mereka. Lelaki kulit putih yang kulihat di ruang tunggu duduk di sampingku. Akhirnya setelah hampir satu jam mengatur para penumpang beserta barang bawaannya, pesawat pun lepas landas. Jangan berharap bisa tidur selama perjalanan. Aroma tak jelas sudah bukan masalah besar lagi. Perjalanan dari Bangkok menuju Nairobi membuat hidungku terbiasa dengan bau khas ini. Suara penumpang tak ada hentinya. Suami istri yang tadinya meributkan bagasi yang penuh kini tengah berdebat, entah memperdebatkan apa. Sang suami sibuk dengan kalkulator super gedenya sementara sang istri tak ada hentinya menjerit, meneriakkan instruksi kepada sang suami.
