Imee in Addis!

31 October 2007, 07:09 , by Imelda Tjahja

Dear Friends,
How are you?… Hope this finds you well. I just came back from my one week trip to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The city was great, it has so many beautiful old churches & the weather was very cold! My friend & I stayed at Sheraton Addis & Hilton Addis which are well known as one of the finest hotels in Africa & in fact, it was indeed really luxury stays! (This time I decided to stay at luxury hotels ‘just’ to celebrate my birthday, I wanted to relax & enjoy my life as I am getting ‘older’ now…)

Tour agency took us to Habesha Restaurant to enjoy Ethiopian traditional dinner with live music & dancing on the last evening of our trip before we were dropped-off to the airport to return to Khartoum, it was fun! I really enjoyed the Ethiopian food & their dancing, the dancers’ bodies were really moving & shaking especially their shoulders, they were very energic! Attached are some of our pics…

Now I’m fresh & ready to start to work for another 6-7 weeks in the most muddy place in Sudan… Malakal!

Cheers,
 Imelda

Hi Imelda…
it seem we have two things in common : just come back from holidays and ‘getting older’ :)’. Happy Belated birthday… may all the magic of life will come in every time you breath.

Warm regard from Bandung – Indonesia
